Call for Volunteers Jun-Jul 2021


We’re looking for women and men to help us expand Lean In Netherlands’ footprint: touching more lives, businesses and communities via our programs (Lean In circles, 50 ways to fight bias and our recurrent inspirational events), to advance women in the Netherlands on their (personal and professional) ambitions.

  • Have the skills for the openings available (see below) 
  • Are available to commit to 3 to 5 hrs/ week for 6 months /1 year (depends on role) 
  • Are organized, capable to work autonomously, proactive and committed 
  • Believe in the purpose and values of Lean In Netherlands
  • Have the desire to make a difference and participate in this important endeavor



Circle Development Manager: 

  • Responsible for generating and on-boarding new Lean In Circles
  • Organize and deliver Circle Factories (with the help of Events team)
  • Support the start of new Lean In Circles and be the contact person for new Circle leaders
  • Help create a circle toolkit and build knowledge among new Circle leaders
  • Lead the Foster Circle to on-board new leaders and members of Lean In Netherlands circles.
  • Mandatory: Leader of a Lean In Circle

Circles Developer:

  • Responsible of supporting the Circles development team on the above activities 
  • Actively participate in co-leading and running the Foster Circle to on-board new leaders and members of Lean In Netherlands circles.
  • Mandatory: Leader or regular member of a Lean In Circles


Copywriter for Website (Dutch ):

  • Do you know how to transform words into a story and are you not afraid of words? Join us as a copywriter and be responsible for writing appealing copy that attracts, inspires and engages our growing community of Lean In | Netherlands.
  • There are two roles available to contribute in the blogs & community engagement efforts.
  • Mandatory: Experience writing in Dutch.

Growth Marketing:

  • A growth marketer who can help us achieve our goals and promote/sell our events in different channels including traditional Search and Display
  • Open to look outside the box to find new unpaid channels to achieve our awareness and acquisition goals.
  • Work together with our Online Marketeer and together maintain the experimentation backlog as well as a data-driven approach for the marketing team.

Web Manager:

  • You will oversee the functionality of the website, evaluate and manage website performance, facilitate hosting and server management, and develop, maintain and update website content based on SEO/PPC optimisation.
  • You like experimentation and this would be a great platform to run A/B tests that can help us improve.
  • Must know: WordPress, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics

Product Marketeer:

  • Identify our target audience, develop persona research (yes, actually talk to people and send surveys to learn about them!) and map the customer journey.
  • Co-Create documentation such as Partnership enablement materials and Circle enablement materials to be used internally as well as in our channels like the website.
  • Be the voice of the community members in the marketing strategy conversations. Use customer insights to develop the value proposition, positioning and messaging for our organization.


Event Staff:

  • Assist the Event Leader in tasks and support in the organization of venue setting and catering, coordinating photo/video and branding materials on venue, etc
  • For virtual events: Coordinating speakers, arranging zoom meetings webinars & organize content for marketing (bio of speakers, photos), description of event for Eventbrite content.


Volunteers for ‘’50 Ways to Fight Bias Program & Other Trainings:

  • Helps deliver corporate programs (50 ways to fight bias, Lean In circles kickoffs) 
  • Supports in organizing and delivering corporate events, if needed (with the help of Events team)
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills are a must.


Legal Analyst:

Do you have a legal or compliance background and a drive to make tangible impact? Keep reading! As a Legal Analyst in our team, you will ensure the full legal rights of the foundation and make the foundation compliant to relevant regulations. You will also assist with negotiating and drafting legal contracts and licenses on an adhoc basis with our corporate and public sector partners. This role is always evolving and adapting to the scope of the foundation’s work, so you can create your own learning opportunities too!
